Before Your Visit

Things You Should Know Before Coming….

•There is some minor physical activity in this program. Participants should feel comfortable participating at a moderate activity level for about two hours.

•If there are any health concerns, please bring them to us before the program so we can make the necessary accommodations. All medical information will be held in the strictest confidentiality.

•We practice a style of facilitation that includes everyone. We can adapt any situation if a person wants to participate.

•There is no running scheduled for this activity. Individuals won’t be asked to lift anything over five pounds.

•Individuals should wear comfortable rubber-soled, close-toed shoes that they feel comfortable wearing. No high-heels please.

•Individuals should wear clothes that are comfortable, but able to sustain a grass stain or two. Clothes should not be too loose or too restrictive for movement.

•Check the weather. We like to be outside when possible, so bring a sweatshirt or jacket if you get cold easily. Dress in layers. It’s better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

•No one will be asked to do anything they don’t want to do. We practice the “Challenge by Choice” philosophy that allows participants to engage initiatives on their own terms.

•We offer a fully accessible facility and restrooms that can accommodate groups of all sizes and individuals of all abilities.
